Black chokeberry burl

This pipe is crafted from the burl of the "Black Fruit Tree" (a species unique to Yunnan, China). Handling and Maintenance
1. Frequent Handling: Regularly handle and rub the item so that the natural oils and sweat from your hands permeate the wood. Over time, the color will shift from yellow to deep yellow, then to orange, dark red, and finally reddish-brown. The longer it is nurtured by the collector, the more lustrous, translucent, and reddish the finish becomes; once a full patina has developed, it becomes resistant to cracking and takes on a truly exquisite appearance.
2. Preventing Cracking: Protect the item from water, direct sunlight, and exposure to wind or extreme temperature fluctuations. Do not store it in dry areas; instead, keep it in a cool, humid environment.
